Seven was the magic number for MCJH girls varsity as they shut out Shippensburg

Heads up, 7Up!

The MCJH Girls soccer continues to shine as they defeated Shippensburg in Varsity action, 7-0.

The Huskies’ defense did not allow Shippensburg a shot on goal while its offense plastered 18.

Goalie Bailey McNitt was untested as the Lady Huskies tallied five corners.

Aubrey Strohecker finished the after noon posting a hat trick while teammate Brynn Knepp had two.

Knepp scored first off Strohecker pass at 1:00.

The Huskies were at it again as Strohecker picked a pass from Knepp this time at 10:56.  

Less than four minutes later, Strohecker notched her second goal. This time the assist came from Kate Bickhart at 14:37.

Knepp upped the score to 4-0 as she sent one into the net off another Bickhart assist at 21:42.

Strohecker notched her hat trick thanks to an  Ella Kammerer pass at 32:53.

Rounding out the goals were Arika Henry fromSarah Henry at 33:23and Elise Wagner scored on a Summer Shuey pass at 55:13.

In the JV Game , Shippensburg won over Mifflin County 4-0.

MC goalie Paige Shugarts and Summer Shuey had 10 saves.
