Still perfect! MC13s take Southern New Jersey in second game of Mid-Atlantics

Cranking it up!

The Mifflin County 13-year-olds kept its offensive fire power going as it took care of Southern New Jersey 10-4.

In just two games, the Mifflin County offensive pounded out 24 runs in its two appearances in this year’s Babe Ruth Mid-Atlantic Championship game.

Today, Mifflin County were led at the plate by Evan Strohecker and  Nate Parkes with two hits apiece.

Both also were strong in the RBI column as they both tallied two each in the victory.

Madden Weaver showed the team’s patience at the plate as he was walked three time on the day.

On the mound, Logan Ruth was strong and very effective as he went five innings and struck out two batter en route to the victory.

Also spending some time on the mound was Chase Hartung as he struck out one in his time on the mound.
