Juniata picks up Saturday victory Halifax

With the season winding down the Indians continue to work their way through their opponents.

Saturday, Juniata improved its record on the season to 8-3 on the season as it defeated Halifax by an 18-point win at 60-42.

Jace White led the Indians with a game high 22 points while teammate Manny O’Donell finished with a double-double 14 points and 12 rebounds.

White led his team with 10 points in the opening stanza with Juniata opening up with a 21-13 effort.

Both defenses took over in the second quarter as the Indians held an 11-8 advantage in the period.

Going into the half, the Indians led 33-21.

In the second half, Juniata put the game on ice, outscoring Halifax 28-21 en route to the 18-point victory.
