MC Babe Ruth 15U All-Stars had all cylinders firing on offense on Sunday, winning big over Scranton 14-1

MC Babe Ruth 15U All-Stars got things moving in the first inning, when Landon Haigh’s sac fly scored one run for MC Babe Ruth 15U All-Stars.

MC Babe Ruth 15U All-Stars tallied seven runs in the seventh inning. Evan Strohecker, Haigh, Logan Ruth, and Elliott Yetter all drove in runs in the frame.

Chase Hartung took the win for MC Babe Ruth 15U All-Stars. Hartung surrendered one run on four hits over six and a third innings, striking out nine. Chase Leister threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Leister recorded the last two outs to earn the save for MC Babe Ruth 15U All-Stars.

Ethan Gorton took the loss for Scranton. The hurler surrendered two runs on three hits over two and a third innings, striking out one and walking one.

Jason Posluszny started the game for Scranton. The bulldog allowed six hits and four runs over three innings, striking out three and walking one

MC Babe Ruth 15U All-Stars tallied 18 hits on the day. Jayden Smith, Michael McNitt, Strohecker, Braxton Smith, and Ruth each collected multiple hits for MC Babe Ruth 15U All-Stars. Smith led MC Babe Ruth 15U All-Stars with four hits in five at bats.
