MC field hockey shuts out Mifflinburg

On Saturday, the Mifflin County field hockey team had a strong day defensively as they topped Mifflinburg 2-0.

In the first half, Hailee Sheetz broke loose from a defender and scored a goal at 24:44. An assist came from Keni Kahley.

From there, the Lady Huskies kept Mifflinburg off the board, leading 1-0.

In the second half, Mifflin County struck again.

Alyssa Lynch scored at 5:21thanks to an assist from Hailee Sheetz.

Mifflin County goalie Coletta Beeler tallied six saves.
